Hi, I’m Nassir. I am an IT professional with over 8 years of experience. I was the entire IT department at a small private school for about 7 years, and now I work in cybersecurity in the health insurance industry. As a member of the Security Operations team, I am involved in incident response, vulnerability remediation, and compliance.
I have CCNA and Security+ certifications and I am currently working toward my CISSP certification. Although I have a Bachelor’s Degree in Biomedical Sciences and a Master’s in Organic Chemistry, IT has always been my passion.
The primary purpose of this site is to document my hobbies and share my thoughts on different topics. I do occasionally do freelance IT work in my spare time.
